Steppes Discovery’s photographic guide, Sue Flood, was recently recognised in the International Photography Awards 2011 for a portfolio of images taken at Laguna del Lagartos in Costa Rica earlier this year, which received an honorable mention in the Nature Photography category.
Sue is leading a trip for Discovery to Laguna del Lagartos from 29 January to 5 February next year, making exclusive use of the custom built hides she used to take her images. Numbers are limited to only 4 people on this trip due to the size of the hide so you’ll need to book early.
Sue was also placed second in the Travel and Tourism photography category, and won 3rd prize in the nature book category for "Cold Places", which features her favourite polar images.
