Abu Camp

Abu Camp, botswana

Set deep in an ancient riverine forest, Abu camp has six luxury en-suite tents, each with its own tree-shaded deck overlooking the lagoon.  The lounge and dining tent has a spectacular view over the lagoon and also has a library and study.  The African ebony and sycamore fig trees make this camp a cool and inviting retreat.

Wildlife
Prolific birdlife, elephants, plains game.

Activities
Game drives, walks, mokoro trips and the opportunity to interact with the resident herd of elephants – walking and riding with the herd through the bush.

Eco-credentials
A portion of each guest’s fare at Wilderness Safaris camps is allocated to the Wilderness Safaris Wildlife Trust, with 100% of these funds going to Trust-approved projects.  The projects deal with the needs of existing wildlife populations, seek solutions to save endangered species and provide education and training for local people and their communities.
