Over the years it has been come a more popular city, not just in Kenya but in the whole of Eastern Africa. It offers Kenyan travellers with a vast array of quaint guesthouses, such as Macushla House and House of Waine and other magnificent unique accomodation including Ngong House, offering bush camp styled tree houses in the suburbs of Nairobi.

For animal enthusiasts there is also the nearby Nairobi National Park which has an array of flora and fauna including lions, giraffes, impalas and more wild animals in addition to an animal orphanage. Or there is the wonderful Giraffe Centre in the suburb of Langatta where the Rothschild giraffe was saved from extinction. There is the opportunity to feed the giraffes and is a perfect place to take children whilst on a family holiday to this magnificent country.
