Peponi Hotel
Your first view of this white washed hotel is from your boat on the airport transfer, and having just watched old Lamu town pass you by. Starting as Lars Korschen family house, over the past 30 years Peponi has grown into a charming 24 bedroom hotel offering attentive service, delicious meals and endless relaxation (next door to an eight mile beach) still under the watchful eye and laid back hospitality of Lars and Carol Korschen. Peponi is very personal; you arrive as a guest, and leave as a friend; it charm lying in its eccentric and Anglicised ambiance.
Activities
Guided visits to Old Lamu Town and fort, relax on Shela Beach, sun downer cruises on Dhows. Windsurfing, waterskiing, swimming, big game fishing, turtle watching (in season) and snorkelling.
