Domaine Nature Lodge
Our first choice because of its location! Domaine Nature is a real rainforest lodge right in the midst the forest. There are twenty bungalows, ten of which are situated on the steep hill overlooking the thundering Namorona River. The other ten are on the other side of the main road also on a steep hill with great views. All the bungalows have en suite bathrooms (shower & toilet). The private, wooden balconies are great for relaxing after a strenuous walk. Please note that the wood stairs to the bungalows are steep and slippery. The reception and restaurant are near the main road and the restaurant has a great vibe and offers good food.
Wildlife
An unmatched array of lemurs – 12 species in all; bird life is diverse with many of the endemics – Vangas, Ground Rollers, Mesites, Asities - often seen; reptiles and frogs are also diverse and abundant.

The wooden bungalows have been set in real rainforest, which has been allowed to encroach back into the area.
