Namibia Safari Holidays
Namibia is arguably the most beguiling area of Southern Africa, from the ancient deserts and dunes of The Namib, to the azure seas of the Skeleton Coast. It is home to an eclectic mix of wildlife ranges from endangered species such as Wild Dog, Black Rhino, Oribi and Puku to around 80’000 seals found at Cape Cross seal reserve, with many of species being unique to the country.
There is a fascinating range of desert-adapted wildlife and the Namibia Desert Elephant Safari provides an exceptional opportunity to follow the lives of the endemic desert elephants, as well as an insight into the ongoing Cheetah and Leopard conservation work carried out in theis region.
Undoubtably, the most famous of its parks is the Etosha National Park which harbours over 100 mammal species, eight of which are endemic to Namibia, including the Black faced Impala. The Namibia Desert & Sea Safari encompasses Etosha along with the red dunes of Sossusvlei and the remote Himba communities of Kaokoland, who are involved in some of Namibia's most pioneering conservation programmes.
