Palmwag Lodge


Situated on the Uniab River in northwest Damaraland, Palmwag Lodge offers 30 beds in 2-3 bed thatched bungalows and 10 beds in luxury en-suite tents.  This is the ideal place from which to do a few nights’ mobile camping, get off the beaten track, and use the knowledge and expertise of the guides to explore the Kaokoland, Kunene River and Epupa regions.  Palmwag Lodge lies within a 5000km² private concession area, famous for its desert elephant and endangered black rhino

Eco-credentials
Save the Rhino Trust is a non-governmental organisation which, with the help of the local communities, succeeded in eliminating poaching in the Kunene region of Namibia.  Today north west Namibia holds the largest unfenced population of black rhino in Africa.
