Hidden at the foot of the majestic Sossusvlei dunes with a private entrance to Namib Naukluft Park, Kulala Desert lodge has magnificent views of the famous red dunes, mountainous scenery and vast open plains.  Each of the 15 stylish, thatched and canvas ‘kulalas’ (meaning ‘to sleep’ in Oshiwambo) have en-suite bathrooms and verandahs and are built on a wooden platform.  The decks of the flat rooftops are the perfect spot to sleep under the stars!

Eco-credentials
Wilderness Safaris Namibia’s camps in the Kulala Wilderness Reserve are involved in the Small Carnivore Project.  This research project concentrates on small nocturnal predators, focusing on discovering the distribution patterns of these endangered animals as well as the education of farmers and local communities
