Akagera Lodge
More of a hotel than a traditional safari lodge; the only real option available does have fantastic views looking across the savannah and the 60 en-suite rooms looking out over Lake Ihema. Whilst it may lack a little of the charm of some of the smaller upcountry lodges, the staff are eager to please and will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay.
Wildlife
The highest concentration of hippos in Africa, (large) crocodiles, lion, leopard and black rhino (although rarely seen), excellent birdlife.
Activities
Game drives, walks, canoe safaris, exploring one of the wilder parks in Rwanda.
