Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

Sabyinyo exterior Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge room

One of the most upmarket camps in the region, Sabyinyo Lodge sits at the foot of the Sabyinyo Volcano and is sensitively constructed from local stone, ochre coloured plaster and terracotta tiled roofs giving it a contemporary Rwandese feel. Whilst lacking some of the warmth and intimacy of the Virunga Lodge, there is no denying the flair and style of Sabyinyo and the luxury it aims to provide in rural Rwanda.

Wildlife
Gorillas, birding, golden monkeys.

Activities
Bird-watching, gorilla trekking, community / lakeside walks, trips to Karisoke, picnics.

Eco-credentials
