Londolozi Founders Camp, Kruger National Park and Mpumalanga Province
Owned and managed by the Varty family, Londolozi, derived from the Zulu word ‘to protect’, is situated on the Sand River, in the heart of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. It is famous for its leopards, owing to the remarkable partnership between the leopards, rangers and trackers over the past thirty years. The classic Founders Camp is set among ancient Ebony and Matumi trees and has five luxury en-suite chalets.

Activities
With no barrier between the reserve and Kruger National Park, the game viewing is spectacular. Great leopard sightings, numerous different prides of lion, cheetah and wild dog, large numbers of antelope and plains game including zebra, wildebeest, elephant, hippo and giraffe.
Eco-credentials
The Londolozi land was nurtured back into abundance through an ambitious programme to recreate the river systems, restore natural drainage lines and rebuild the productivity of the land. Current projects include micro catchment management and alien plant control.
