Holiday Inn Dar Es Salaam
The hotel is 14kms from Dar es Salaam International Airport, comprising 152 well-appointed guest rooms. Accommodation on the higher floors offers views across the ocean and gardens, whilst all rooms include an en suite bathroom with shower. The hotel has all the facilities and services you would expect from this international chain and whilst the Holiday Inn may not seem like the most obvious choice of hotels, it is by far the best, mid-range hotel in Dar and is in an ideal location for exploring the city. The pool and garden area is actually quite nice, situated next to the botanical gardens, home to a number of colourful birds and the odd peacock. The bar area is also quite nice, with large cushions scattered around and a number of different African artefacts decorating the area giving it a slightly warmer feel than the usual Holiday Inn’s.
