Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
Like its sister property in Tarangire, these rooms offer exclusive luxury in tree house suites set in the heart of a mahogany forest, in the remote south-western shores of Lake Manyara - the only lodge in the park. Crafted from local timber and makuti (palm fronds), each suite features large windows to invite the lush forest inside whilst the classically elegant rooms are fitted with contemporary furnishings in neutral colours and textures. The safari shop also features signature community craftwork from the area and is of excellent quality, making for some great souvenirs.

Great birding, tree-climbing lions, skittish leopards, elephants, large troops of olive baboons, waterbuck.

Eco-credentials
The owners of the lodge helped establish The Africa Foundation, a not-for-profit rural development organisation, ongoing conservation education and training programmes, sustainable land management programmes.
