Gorilla Forest Camp
This permanent luxury camp, designed to blend seamlessly into environment, consists of eight double tents, raised on wooden platforms, each with en-suite facilities and unusually a bathtub looking out onto the forest. Whilst perhaps sacrificing character for comfort, the bar and dining cottage overlook the rain forest, as well as a raised natural platform for open air dining. Although you need to wrap up warm, a traditional African campfire is lit where you can occasionally listen to lectures given by visiting primatologists.
Wildlife
Gorillas, excellent birding, butterflies (over 200 species), 11 other species of primate including chimpanzees (rarely seen), bushbuck, duiker – and a small herd of forest elephants, but you’d be lucky to see them!

Gorilla trekking, bird walks, forest walks, visits to nearby school, visit to Bwindi clinic, community walk, hiking (for the more active!)
