Mantana Tented Camp
Situated in the park itself on a small hill overlooking Lake Mburo and one of the main game corridors leading to the lake, this is a genuine bush experience with fully furnished tents, eco friendly toilets, solar lighting and private verandas. The wooded ridge, adjacent to the lodge, is great for bird watching and is also home to a number of small mammals One of the original lodges in the area and a consistent favourite of ours.
Wildlife
Excellent birdlife, large mammals, vervet monkey, olive baboon, waterbuck, hippo’s, warthogs, one of the best places to see one of Uganda’s most impressive looking domestic animals, the long-horned Ankole Cattle.
