Mihingo Lodge
Mihingo Lodge is an exclusive retreat adjacent to Lake Mburo National Park, featuring ten rooms built on wooden platforms, covered by a thatched roof. Suspended under the thatched roof is a very spacious and comfortable tent equipped with solid en-suite bathroom boasting stunning views, hot and cold running water, showers, and flush toilets. Each luxury tented room is nestled on a private piece of the lodge's property, enabling guests to enjoy the beauty of Lake Mburo in complete seclusion. Below the dining area, an infinity swimming pool stretches out from the rocks and seems to disappear into the vast landscape beyond. From the dining and pool area, guests can enjoy the view of a valley and it’s stunning evening sunsets over Lake Mburo National Park. Animals gathering in the valley provide guests with fantastic game viewing opportunities or a chance to relax and watch wildlife at water hole below the pool. From here you can explore Lake Mburo itself by boat, take forest and savanna walks, game drives in Lake Mburo National Park and night exciting night drives.
The lodge is located just outside the park itself which means an earlier start to see the game, but still considered one of the best properties in terms of comfort, ambience and location.
