Jacana Camp
Set on the edge of a crater lake and a little further away from the entrance to the park, the lodge blends in perfectly with the surrounding Maramagambo forest. Each of the spacious log cabins have en suite facilities and the homely designed communal area, on raised stilts overlooking the lake is full of comfortable sofa's, hammocks and a welcoming log fire. You can sometimes hear the chimps from the nearby forests during the day and the chorus of frogs at night offer a unique sound of Uganda.

Chimpanzee’s, tree-climbing lions, traditional plains game, crocodiles and hippo’s in Kazinga channel.
Activities
Boat safaris on nearby Kazinga channel, forest walks, crater Lake visits, chimpanzee walks in Kyambura gorge, exploring local villages.
Eco-credentials
Built using local materials of wood, rock and rope, excellent local employment opportunities in an area traditionally overlooked given the lodge is outside of the national park.
