Chongwe River Camp
Situated on the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers, with views of the mountains of the escarpment to the north, Chongwe River Camp boasts a beautiful location. This 16-bed camp has luxury ensuite open air bathrooms with fittings made from natural materials found near the lodge. The camp also offers an interesting day trip to Chongwe River Falls which is about a two hour walk from the camp. Open from April to November.
Wildlife
The national park is home to lion, leopard, herds of elephant and buffalo, hippo and over 300 species of birds. The Chongwe region is famous for elephants that feed in the grove.
