Trip Summary
Zimbabwe offers some of the best game viewing in Africa and after a challenging decade is making a big comeback. This week-long, small group safari will have you exploring one of Zimbabwe’s great wilderness areas, Hwange National Park, considered one of the best wildlife parks in Africa for size, numbers and sheer volume of game.
Boasting the highest diversity of mammals of any national park in the world, this safari is hosted by some of Zimbabwe's most respected guides and allows you to track the rare Black Rhinos and Wild Dogs from the comfort and convenience of a fully serviced mobile camp, allowing you to get into the heart of the game. In addition to this, you will have the chance to visit a wild dog rehabilitation centre where you can learn more about these fascinating creatures and their struggle for survival, as well as the chance to join an anti-poaching unit on patrol, where you will help record game sightings, identifying spoors and a number of fascinating aspects of the vital role they play in saving Zimbabwe's wildlife.
Finally, you can end your safari at the word famous Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and rightly considered one of Africa's most spectacular sights.
