Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park)

A journey idea combining a few nights in Victoria Falls with some safari time in Hwange National Park. Not only does this fascinating safari allow you a classic river safari on the Zambezi but also allows you to visit the spectacular “Smoke That Thunders” at Victoria Falls. In addition to this, you will have the chance to explore what many consider to be one of Africa’s most exciting parks, Hwange – little visited and incredibly wild. However, for many, the highlight of this journey is the chance to join an Anti-Poaching excursion in the Zambezi National Park, giving you the opportunity to record game sightings, identify spoor, patrol and sweep for wire snares thereby becoming actively involved in the conservation of Zimbabwe’s wildlife.
This journey idea can easily be combined with the Chobe region of Botswana or can be extended to include other areas in Zimbabwe such as the Matopa Hills.
