M/V Antarctic Dream is a Dutch built ice-reinforced vessel originally serving under the name Piloto Pardo for the Chilean Navy. Extensively rebuilt and refurbished to a high standard in 2005, capable of accommodating up to 84 passengers, she is a strong option for those clients demanding a higher level of comfort and greater emphasis on the food than typically offered on the former expeditionary ships.

The vessel features a spacious and airy dining room / observation lounge & bar, a perfect place to relax with panoramic views, dedicated lecture room and fitness room. The cabins themselves are very comfortable and well-appointed, in a choice of 3 types, all with either twin or doubles beds (no bunks!), outside view and en suite bathroom. Satellite email and phone service is available in the library. A stylish, comfortable ship well-suited to those who prefer not to have to 'rough it'.
