Travelling in India requires patience, humour and above all a tour operator who knows the area intimately. Managing to avoid the crowds on his numerous wildlife trips (not easy in a country with over 1 billion people) Chris has met many of the country’s leading wildlife experts and guides, who have shown him aspects of India the guidebooks fail to mention.

As a result, the wildlife of India is very much our speciality and our tiger safaris and tours in Ranthambhore, Bandhavgarh, Panna or Kanha team up with tiger researchers and experts for some of the best wildlife safaris in India.

Whilst tiger safaris are a big draw, the wealth of wildlife found elsewhere is impressive and includes leopard, sloth bear, buffalo, dhole (wild dog), sambar and one-horned rhino. Take an elephant back safari in the beautiful Kaziranga National Park in Assam to see one-horned rhino. Venture further north to the Indian Himalayas and explore Ladakh on one of our award winning snow leopard treks through the Zanskar Valley and Hemis National Park.

Our Indian wildlife safaris easily combine with the countries traditional sites, including the forts of Rajasthan, the palm lined beaches of the South or the breathtaking Taj Mahal. 

Travel Operators for Tigers is a campaign promoting the need for change in the way that nature and wildlife tourism is developing in India. The desire is that all those involved in ‘tiger tourism’, including tour operators, accommodation providers, local services, park management and of course, visitors will join together to halt the demise of the tiger. Through collective action and adherence to a Code of Conduct the aim of the campaign is to make wildlife tourism in India more responsible and more sustainable.
