Trip Summary
Remarkably little is known about the world’s largest fish, the whale shark, despite its great size. However, their annual congregation, near the small island of Isla Holbox off Mexico’s Yucatan coast, in significant numbers between May and September offers an extremely rare opportunity to swim with these wonderfully graceful and gentle giants at very close quarters in their natural habitat.
