This comprehensive marine safari is an exhilarating combination of some of the world's best whale watching and whale interaction, with a fascinating insight into Mexican wilderness and wildlife. Steppes Discovery has teamed up with one of the few small boats which hold special permits to enter the ecological reserves and national parks of Baja California and the Sea of Cortez. Using The Searcher as your floating base, explore Baja's marine rich waters and startling landscape accompanied by a highly experienced crew and your captain, Art Taylor, who is passionate and hugely knowledgeable about this immensely rich area.

Snorkelling at remote islands gives you the chance to swim amongst tropical reef fish, while sea lions, elephant seals and fur seals sun themselves on the beach, with over 130 species of birds filling the air.

One of the most diverse marine safaris possible in some of the worlds' richest waters - no wonder it remains one of our most popular tours.
