Cristalino Jungle Lodge
Cristalino Jungle Lodge is a fantastic lodge located on the banks of the Cristalino River in the Alta Floresta region of the Amazon forest. It is the work of a family who is leading conservation and sustained projects in this area. The Lodge is internationally recognized as a prime area for bird watching and also for unforgettable Amazonian adventures including trekking & camping in the jungle, swimming in the pristine Cristalino River, canoeing and wildlife watching. There are 2 bungalows with 8 rooms, all with private bathrooms and hot water showers (solar heating), ceiling fans and screened windows. There are also 2 large dormitory buildings with rooms equipped with twin beds yet no private bathrooms. There is a thatch roof patio for outside dining as well as relaxing, a dining room and a small natural history library which is useful for slide shows and group meetings.
