Patio Andaluz
Patio Andaluz is quite literally a national treasure, having been declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO in 1978. This former 17th century mansion is set in the heart of Quito's historic centre and within walking distance of its many principle attractions around Plaza de la Independicia.
This charming boutique hotel houses a collection of 32 rooms and suites, arranged around the perimeters of two glass-ceiling courtyards. All rooms are spacious with a private bathroom, attractive antique style furnishings and a comfortable bed dressed in crisp white linens.
The courtyard restaurant, adorned with exotic flower arrangements, serves meals buffet style at breakfast and a’ la carte in the evening. An extensive wine menu is also offered at the bar.
The Patio Andaluz is an excellent choice for good service and location.
