Summary
In a corner of South America is a land of spectacular wildlife experiences, where jaguars roam the jungle on the hunt for capybara (the world’s largest rodent); Giant Anteater forage through savannahs for ants and termites, whilst Anaconda (the world’s largest snake) lie concealed amongst the tall grass of the wetlands. Giant Otter frolic in rivers and Black Caiman (the world’s largest alligator) lie in wait for their prey, whilst Harpy Eagles (the world’s largest eagle) soar high up in the canopy.
Alongside wildlife, Guyana offers impressive landscapes such as the impressive Kaieteur Falls (the world’s tallest single drop waterfall) thundering into a dense jungle wilderness. A holiday in Guyana is a fantastic opportunity to discover amazing wildlife and landscapes alongside experiencing Amerindian communities and colonial Georgetown in this little discovered country.
