Trip Summary
Peru may be most famous for its rich cultural heritage but it is also one of the world’s top wildlife destinations. This trip around lesser visited Northern Peru will take you to two very different and very diverse ecosystems. Starting with the endangered Pacific dry forest, home to Spectacled Bears, White-winged Guans and guanacos. You will then continue to the Amazon Rainforest to an area with the highest concentration of monkeys in the world, as well as Pink River Dolphins, sloths, caimans and even jaguars have been spotted on rare occasions.
