Photographing wildlife in the rainforest is notoriously difficult. The light is often disadvantageous, the animals themselves are timid and hide away and the visibility can be rather poor. This is why it is so useful to have a local naturalist photography guide to assist you with your equipment and give you tips on making the most of blinds, maximising breaks with the weather and wildlife and generally taking photos in the jungle. This week-long trip will take you to three separate lodges along the Tambopata River and various micro-ecosystems looking for wildlife from Giant River Otters to prehistoric looking birds called hoatzin.
