Discovering new territories
Steppes Discovery have recently been developing new, innovative tours that provide a privileged insight into the world of wildlife conservation. Creating a new itinerary can take many months of preparation, including country visits, meeting field researchers, conservation projects and local guides.
First-hand knowledge is key and our aim is to design an exciting tour that also passes the ‘Discovery Test’:
Does this tour actively promote and support the local community and local wildlife conservation initiatives? Will the experience enthuse and inspire our clients to become ambassadors for sustainable travel and wildlife conservation on their return home?
The new journeys outlined in this e-news, as with all our tours, answer both these questions with a resounding ‘Yes’. We hope you will feel inspired to join the ranks of an ever growing number who feel that responsible travel creates a positive impact for all those involved.
Every trip booked with Steppes Discovery involves a donation to the local NGO, conservation agency or local community project in addition to carbon off-setting initiatives with Rainforest Concern.
