Machu Picchu Access to be Regained

Further to the terrible floods and landslides causing access to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu at the beginning of the year to be impossible. Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) to Pisaicucho (the starting point for the Inca Trail) will have access by train from the 1st April whereby the train shall take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. 

From Ollantaytambo there shall be a bus which shall take approximately 15 minutes. 

In addition the Orient-Express train Hiram Bingham shall not be operational until the track is repaired to Poroy and this is not expected to happen until at least June/July.
