Direct flights to Argentina’s historical past

Iberia have just announced that they shall fly direct from Madrid to Cordoba, Argentina’s second largest city, three times a week creating a hub for passengers in the historical city North West of Buenos Aires.
Why is this good news? This will open up this wonderful province which is said to hold some of the most impressive 17th, 18th and 19th century churches and monasteries in the country. Not to mention providing wonderful access for some of the wonderful estancias such as Estancia Los Potreros.
Argentina is Iberia’s largest growth area this year and with Buenos Aires being the first transatlantic destination in 1946 for Iberia this holds a promising. Today Iberia uses its Airbus A340/600s on the route with a recently redesigned Business Plus Class which seats folding into completely horizontal beds.
