Waters Meet in Botswana

Selinda Canoe Trail from above

We have received exciting news from the Selinda Reserve in Botswana. The waters known as 'The Spillway' have, for only the second time in 30 years, connected the Okavango and Liyanti rivers.  This means the Selinda Canoe Trail featured in our May enews, is a full 4 days on the water.  This was perfect timing as it coincided with the first canoe trail of the year.  In previous years when the spillway doesn't quite connect it is only a short walk to pick up the next river, but it is great to think guests have been able to canoe the whole length of the spillway.
