No VAT increase for travellers
Some of our customers have enquired about the increase in VAT and how it will affect the cost of their holiday.
The good news is that VAT is not charged on flights and neither is it charged on hotels overseas, therefore prices may be going up in the UK due to the VAT rise; however Steppes Travel prices remain the same. Britain charges full VAT now at 20% on hotel rooms and meals, in many overseas counties there is no VAT on meals or considerably less than here.
