David’s photographic philosophy is to have fun and take great pictures. Providing a mixture of practical and theoretical knowledge, David will also spend each evening with the group, looking and learning about the day’s photography.
Having spent the last 15 years visiting hundreds of locations in Southern and East Africa, David Rogers has developed a deep understanding of the African landscape, its plants, animals and also its people. Prior to setting up his own business in 2000, David spent seven years as assistant editor at Getaway magazine, writing and photographing more than 100 features including 20 cover stories for which he won several awards. David lives in Cape Town in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
