Durr Ferreira

Durr Ferreira was born in Otjiwarongo in 1973 and grew up on a farm north of Kamanjab. Growing up on the 24 000 ha family farm, Durr showed an interest in nature from an early age and after being schooled in South Africa and studying music in Stellenbosch, Durr traveled abroad, but soon realized that he simply needed to return to the African bush! After returning to Namibia, he joined the family business on the farm and during that period he led three adventure training trips with the British military. Durr rund specialist mobile safaris throughout Namibia and has over eight years of guiding experience in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Tanzania and speaks English, German, Afrikaans and can communicate in Dutch. He is a keen birder and has extensive knowledge of the Himba and Zemba tribes.
